In order to use Mambo on your host, it should have such features: - Apache (version 1.3.19) - MySQL (version 3.23.x) - PHP (version 4.2.x) Please note that PHP on the host must support MySQL and Zlib in order to run Mambo on the hosting environment. Mambo templates and CMS were thoroughly tested on Windows NT/2000/XP, Linux and MacOS X, FreeBSD hosting environments and it was stated that Mambo will work on any hosting environment that matches three requirements above, though some specialists insist on using Mambo templates and CMS on Linux or FreeBSD only.
