Admin Dynamic Flash Gallery - Flash Gallery Installation Guide
Flash Gallery Installation Guide
About the software:
This is a comfortable and easy way to create your own flash gallery. Using the understandable administration panel, you can add, rename and remove the pages and photo galleries and modify their content by bringing the changes to the images and text content of your gallery.
System Requirements:
Server that supports PHP (Apache, IIS)
and supports PHP library bg2
Installation:
Extract the downloaded archive to any folder on your local PC. If you do not have software that can unzip the archive, you can use "7-zip" software that is available at http://www.7-zip.org/.
Once the files are extracted, you need to upload all files and folders from the "gallery" folder to the root directory of your site. You can do this using an FTP-client (for example, FileZilla that is available at http://filezilla-project.org/).
After all of the files are copied, your Flash Gallery will become available at the URL of your website. That is it. The installation is finished.
Administration
If you will go to the URL http://yourwebsite.com/admin/ you will access the administration panel of your dynamic flash photo gallery. When you enter it for the first time, the system will suggest you to create an administrator account.
Enter the desired Admin name and password and click Enter. The system will remember the login settings and the next time you will want to log in you will need to enter them. Please, ensure that you have written down the login settings elsewhere, so that you would avoid login/password losses.
Once the correct Admin name and password are entered, you will be taken to the main page of the administration panel. You will see two text sections there. One of them contains the basic information about the administration panel and dynamic flash photo gallery. The other one is the RSS with the latest news of our website and the newest products released by our company.
Click on the "Site Content Manager" link in the top left corner to access the settings of the Flash gallery.
The Page menu located on the left side of the Site Content Manager contains two main pages (Gallery and Page) and the list of their sub-pages. When you click on the desired page or sub-page in the Page menu, its options can be set in the right part of the Site Content Manager. You can rename main pages and sub-pages, change the name of your site and bring other changes.
Clicking on the sub-pages of the Gallery page you can edit the contents of selected photo galleries, add/remove/modify the images in it; change the gallery names and their descriptions
Sub pages in the Page section allow you access the pages with the text content and edit their content.
Enjoy your new dynamic flash photo gallery. That you for choosing one of our products!
