CMS Templates - WordPress - Using Images in WordPress
Using Images in WordPress
There are two ways of inserting images in your WordPress site: with the help of the built-in uploading utility or with the help of any FTP client software.
You can link to images from your posts with the help of quicktag buttons. You can also create thumbnails to post images on your pages or even create a Gallery or PhotoBlog.
There are tons of WordPress image plugins adding image functionality, utilities and galleries to your web site that can be run from WordPress itself or those which stand alongside.
Of course, you should not forget about template tags and style sheet of your WordPress Theme allowing you to add images to your categories, comments, headings and headers, footers and sidebars, menus and posts.
Although, when adding images to your posts, you should consider the look of the image on the web page and its size. Try to understand how the images will interact with your text, 'play' with margins, borders and paddings around the images within the content.
