Format of the main File for the Flash content is the format Player Flash (.swf). Player Flash format is the only one supporting all the functional online possibilities of Flash. Flash player file format is an opened standard and may be supported by the other applications in future. Further to Flash player format you can export movies and create Flash images as GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PICT, QuickTime or AVI formats.
Publisher does not only generates Flash player files but graphic files also in many formats available for using as an image as well as HTML document itself with all the setup properties required to launch your movie.
If you want to export a single file of some type quickly use Export command then. Export properties direct Flash movie content for the possibility of demonstration in other applications. You can export the complete Flash movie as SWF file or as a range of raster images. You can also export a separate Flash picture or image as an independent image.
Instead of using publisher you can create your own HTML document in any HTML editor and to include there tags necessary to reproduce Flash movie. Before you publish your work you can check how works the movie by using Test Movie and Test Scene. In order to change or modify Flash movie created by the publisher, edit the original of the Flash movie firstly and then publish it again. Although note that the Flash movie imported back to Flash loses part of the creation process information.
