Select Dropper, pick the broken image, it will become the current filling instead of the usual color and automatically Backet tool will be enabled.
You should only insert the image into the necessary closed figure, and you can edit this filling as well as gradient one, i.e. you can change its size, move within the boundaries of the figure and rotate it.
Once you have applied to the selected raster image "break apart" tool, with the help of magic wand tool, you can select areas with color.
The selected area, you can fill with any color or delete it.
After filling a certain area or drawing some certain form of picture image, you can, using paint bucket tool, rotate, skirt or scale the picture image.
To paint with the help of a picture image - Select image in the current scene - Select Modify / Break Apart.
Now, the image has become a discrete set of colored areas.
Click dropper and apply it to the image, thus taking some kind of a sample from it. This tool sets the current filling this image and enables the tool paint bucket. Now you can work with the tool brush, or paint bucket.
To select an area with color in the broken image using magic wand tool - Select the image in the current scene. Select lasso tool, and click the modifier of Magic Wand tool. Set the properties of this tool: Threshold determines how close in colour to each other adjacent pixels should be included in the selected area. The higher the number, the softer selection you will get (the large number of adjacent pixels, diverse in colour, is covered). If the value of this parameter is equal to 0, only those pixels which have absolutely identical color will get into the selection area. Smoothing - determines how much to smooth out the image edges. Options for this parameter: Smooth, Pixels, Rough, and Normal. Click on the image. The tool will select the area of the image in accordance with the set above properties.
Image properties setup - to set the properties of image smoothing and defining the format of its export, there is Bitmap Properties dialog box (Image Properties).
To activate Bitmap Properties dialog box select the image in the Library, and then click Properties button.
You can also use the menu Options from Library window to activate the above dialog box. There are following parameters in the dialog box: Bitmap information – shows name, path, date, and size of the selected image. Preview - shows a smaller version of the image. Allow smoothing – smoothes edges of the image. Update - places image file into the clip. There is a need for this function if you have made any changes in the original image file. Import - opens the dialog box of images import. Use it to import new images. Test - shows the results of compression of the image. You can compare the quality and size of the original (source) and the compressed files. Export As for setting up the following properties: Default - exports file using the default format.
Click Test to determine the default format. Lossless – sets the properties of image export in which the exported image does not lose any data affecting the visual image quality.
JPEG - sets the properties of image export using JPEG-compression. JPEG compression allows to save the image with a high-quality (with the low compression setting, such as 2:1) as well as low quality (with high compression properties, such as 100:1). There is an inversely proportional relation between the degree of compression and file size, as well as between the degree of compression and visual quality of the file. I.e. the higher the degree of compression, the lower the quality and the lower file size are.
If exporting, using JPEG compression, set the properties of compression on a scale of 1 to 100 in the dialog box.
