Using sound editing tools
Use sound editing tools in Sound Tab of the Frame Properties dialog box to determine the start point for sound or to control sound volume. Flash can change the point which the sound starts with and ends to play. It is useful for reducing the size of sounds by removing unused sections.
In order to edit sound with the help of sound editing tools: Add sound to the frame, or select the frame that already contains the sound and select Modify / Frame; then select the Sound Tab in Frame Properties dialog box. And do anything of the following:
In order to change start and end points of the sound, drag Time In and Time Out lines in Sound Frame Properties dialog window. To change the volume of sound, drag envelope handles to envelope lines in order to change the levels in separate points of sound.
Envelope lines show the volume of sound during playing. Click on the lines to create up to 8 envelope handles. To remove the envelope handle, simply drag it out of the window. If you want the big or small part of the soundtrack to be shown in the window, click Zoom In / Out button. To switch between units of measurement between seconds and frames, press Seconds and Frames buttons.
