Publisher produces not only the Flash clip for the network but also creates additional images in a number of formats which are displayed automatically when the Flash player is not available. Publisher creates HTML document required to display a clip (or additional images) in the browser and operates browser configuration settings. Publisher can also create stand-alone Flash Windows and Macintosh projectors and QuickTime video. Before publishing use Publish Settings commands to select formats and define settings properties. Once you have entered all the required data, the publisher will create settings which you can export repeatedly into the all selected formats at once, simply by choosing File / Publish. Flash saves settings that you have identified for the clip file, so that each file can have its own settings. Movie clip publishing: select File / Publish Settings. Select an option for each file format that you want to create. When you select a format, for which Flash offers additional settings properties, there is a new tab appeared above the current bar in the dialog box. Please note that parameters of Windows and Macintosh projector have no settings properties and therefore do not have their own tab in the dialog box Publish Setting. When you select image format like GIF, JPEG or PNG, Flash automatically adds the HTML code required to display the image if the Flash player is not available. Enter the file name, or use Default Name to create each file using a Flash file name with an extension relevant to this format. Click format properties tab that you want to change. Determine publisher settings for each format as described in the following sections. Click Publish to generate all the set files when you are done, or click OK to close the dialog box without publication. Flash generates files as defined in the publisher settings.
