Flash Templates Tutorials - HTML PROPERTIES - The most important settings properties
The most important settings properties which defines Flash are OBJECT and EMBED tags parameters. OBJECT is HTML tag which opens Flash clip in Internet Explorer or EMBED code for Netscape.
HTML control panel tools of Publish Setting dialog box change the following settings properties: Template - determines which of the established templates to use.
All template files in HTML folder of Flash application appear in the pop-up menu.
For description of each template, select the template from the pop-up menu, and click Info button at the right. If you have not selected a template, Flash uses the Default.html template, if it is not set, Flash uses the first template in the list. Flash saves the changed template, using the file name of the Flash clip with the template extension.
For example, if you select Standard.asp template for using with Flash-clip named MyMovie.swf, the final file will be named MyMovie.asp.
Dimensions - set WIDTH and HEIGHT values in OBJECT and EMBED tags.
