Operations With Layer Styles
Photoshop has a set of predefined layer styles that you can load and use for your layer. Click the Styles button in the Layer Styles menu to access the list of the styles saved.
If you like the Layer Styles you have created, you can save them. To do so, click the New Style button that is located beside the Ok button.
You can see the list of applied layer styles by clicking the triangle icon by the layer in the Layers palette. If you will right-click the Layer Style icon in the active layer you will see the drop-down menu with the styles you can open and apply for the layer and several additional options.
Copy Layer Style - layer style options are copied to the clipboard.
Paste Layer Style - you can apply the copied layer styles to the selected layer.
Paste Layer Style to Linked - the layer style from the clipboard is applied to the active layer and the layers that are linked to it.
Clear Layer Style - all the styles applied to the layer are cancelled.
Global Light - you can adjust the Global Light setting for the styles applied.
Create Layers - the effects of layer styles are saved as separate layers.
Hide All Effects - this command hides the effects. If you want to turn off certain effect you can click on the eye icon beside the effect in the Layers palette.
Scale All Effects - you can reduce or increase the effect of the Layer Styles.
